Hello Stewart and Joanna I have just had a conversation with my cousin Doug about your search for the connection to Uncle Harry. Henry Hutchison Templeman ( some info has Hutchinson not sure of spelling) born in 1884. Here is the family connection (short version) so you can see how Doug and I are related to Uncle Harry. Thomas Templeman Jan 19, 1857 Kirkcaldy ,Scotland - 1931 Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Married Kirkcaldy 1882 Elizabeth (Hutchison) Templeman Nov 7,1863 Leslie, Scotland -194? Edmonton, Alberta Canada had 6 children all born in Scotland (I assume Kirkcaldy) Thomas II (called Tam) married Helen Kay(Birrell) Templeman ( called Nellie) Henry Hutchison 1884 (called Harry) Robert Bird 1886-1973 (called Bob) married Jessie M Christina Rolland (called Teen) married William Alfred Fairbairn Matthew Hutchison Aug 10,1896 - Jan 20,1978 married July 18,1919 Ivy (Armitage) Anne Bird 1900-May 19,1974 married Joesph Lafleche Matthew and Ivy had 4 children Gretna Armitage(Templeman) married Allan Yochim had Douglas Yochim James Hutchison-single Burton Jewett married Violet had 3 children William Thomas married Beryl had 4 children Katherine Anne (Templeman) Rees Doris Lorraine(Templeman) Findlay that's me Joan Arlene died at Birth Donna Marie died at Birth I lived with Auntie Anne in Edmonton while I went to school. Thomas and Elizabeth owned the house. Harry and Anne lived with them. (they all died from that house.) The stories of Elizabeth sound like she could be the one that would not accept people, that she would deem, of being from the wrong class. A few family members were targeted. I know that Bob and Tam came to Canada first and worked in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They got sick so Elizabeth came to Canada to take care of her boys. The rest of the family immigrated to Canada (around 1905?.) The whole family made Edmonton, Alberta their home. Hope this helps Doris
